Epipremnum
Epipremnum, also known as pothos, is a climbing plant native to the rainforests of China, the Himalayas and Southeast Asia to the Western Pacific. In its natural environment, it clings to tree trunks by these aerial roots or crawls on the floor of tropical forests.
Its glossy, heart-shaped leaves are found in different shades of green as well as variegated with cream or gold. It is mainly grown in hanging baskets to highlight its long hanging stems, or as a climbing plant on decorative stakes or on pieces of bark. Pothos are also recognized as being a very easy to maintain plant and ideal for beginners.
