Native to tropical regions of Asia and Australia, Hoyas belong to the Asclepiadaceae family. There are several species with Variegata characteristics, which means that this type of plant has variegated foliage that can vary in color from cream, white or yellow and which contrasts with the dark green background of the leaves.
Hoyas Variegata are relatively easy to care for but may require more light than their non-variegated cousins. It is important not to let them sit in water and it is recommended to allow the soil to dry sufficiently between waterings. They generally prefer a bright location. That said, avoid directly exposing Hoya Variegata to intense sunlight or you could burn its leaves.
