Othonna is a genus of about 90 species of succulent or subsucculent perennial herbs or shrubs, native to South Africa, southern Namibia, Angola and Zimbabwe.
This type of plant thrives in morning sun and afternoon shade, allowing it to produce vibrant colors. For it to reach its full potential, it is advisable to plant it in a large pot. It is important to keep the soil dry between waterings to prevent root rot and to use a well-draining soil mix.
