Commonly called moon flower or peace lily, Spathiphyllum is a genus belonging to the Araceae family and includes more than thirty species. Often confused with Anthurium which is brighter in color, Spathiphyllum has long leaves which are lanceolate as well as white flowers called inflorescences.
Although it is beginner-friendly and low maintenance, this plant is slightly finicky. Place it in an environment free of drafts, out of direct sunlight and where the air is not too dry.
