Tephrocactus is a genus of cactus native to Peru and southern Argentina. Generally speaking, these plants have the particularity of being very small, with an approximate total height of 10 centimeters maximum. Tephrocactus are made up of around 35 different species.
Its growth is slow and it needs a lot of sun to develop, as well as excellent aeration. It is possible to expose it outside in summer, but the cactus should never be exposed to temperatures below 0°C.
