Unlike traditional cacti that thrive in arid soil, epiphytic cacti grow naturally on other plants or supports, such as trees or rocks. Their ability to absorb moisture from the surrounding air allows them to survive in inhospitable habitats and create stunning botanical arrangements.
Caring for epiphytic cacti is similar to that of tropical plants. They need light, but not much direct exposure to the sun and they thrive in temperatures between 15°C and 22°C in summer.
