Cryptanthus is a genus of the Bromeliaceae family native to the forests of Brazil. In its natural state, this plant grows in leaf piles, stumps and even rocks.
Cryptanthus prefers warmth and humidity and full sun exposure. It is best to keep it in temperatures between 18 and 24°C and avoid exposing it to temperatures below 15°C. It is important to allow Cryptanthus soil to dry out completely between waterings, as this plant is sensitive to excess water.
