Fittonia
Fittonia is part of the Acanthaceae family. This plant is naturally found in tropical forests, and therefore prefers humid environments. It is often called a "mosaic plant" because of the contrasting veins on its leaves.
Easy to care for, Fittonias prefer to have moist but not soggy soil. The species adapts to a variety of lighting. On the other hand, it will develop better with clear, indirect light. Poor lighting can lead to leaf discoloration.
