Monstera is a genus of epiphytic plant belonging to the Araceae family and comprising more than a hundred species. Native to tropical regions of America, Monstera plants can grow to impressive proportions.
Monstera plants appreciate the presence of sun, but prefer indirect light. Be careful not to overwater this plant. The soil should be slightly moist, but the roots should not be constantly bathed in water.
