Pelecyphora is a genus of slow growing cactus. Native to Mexico, these small cacti produce superb pink flowers during their flowering period.
Pelecyphora cacti should not be watered too often. These cacti need a substrate that promotes water drainage as well as adequate sunlight to promote the proper growth of their column. Under poor conditions, Pelecyphora becomes excessively elongated and develops an unnatural appearance.
